Structurally speaking, the liquid nitrogen tank is mostly made of aluminum alloy or stainless steel, and is divided into two layers inside and outside. Take Panchao liquid nitrogen tank as an example. The specific components are as follows:

1. The outer layer of the liquid nitrogen tank is shell, and the upper part thereof is a tank opening.
2. Liner: The space in the inner layer of the liquid nitrogen tank is called the inner. It is generally a corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy. The bottom of the inner has a base for fixing the lifting cylinder. The liquid nitrogen and the sample can be stored in the inner tank.
3. Interlayer: The interlayer refers to the gap between the inner and outer layers of the tank. It is in a vacuum state. The purpose of vacuuming is to improve the thermal insulation performance of the can, while the interlayer is provided with a heat insulating material and an adsorbent.
4. Vacuum sealing joint: The vacuum sealing joint is usually made of FRP material. It connects the inner and outer layers and maintains a certain length. The adsorbent is placed around the neck tube and the bottom layer. The neck of the top is specially designed. The structure must have pores to discharge nitrogen vapor evaporated from liquid nitrogen to ensure safety and heat insulation to minimize the vaporization of liquid nitrogen.
5. Cover plug: The stopper is made of a plastic that is well insulated to prevent the evaporation of liquid nitrogen while fixing the handle of the barrel.
6. Pails: The pails is placed in the tank inner, in which the thin tube can be stored. The handle of the lifting cylinder is hung on the neck and fixed with a stopper.
