Application of Liquid Nitrogen Tank and Attention Problems
The liquid nitrogen tank is an indispensable equipment in the cold distribution center of animal husbandry improvement. The frozen semen should be transported and stored in the liquid nitrogen tank.
1. Because of different uses, it can be divided into storage and transportation types, and the size and caliber of the container are also different.
(1) The liquid nitrogen tank used in the artificial breeding center is characterized by large capacity, large caliber and easy access to semen.
(2) The neck of liquid nitrogen tank used in farms is narrow, which limits the capacity of liquid nitrogen tank and is suitable for field use.
2. Safety issues to be noted in use
(1) If the contact time with skin is too long, the skin will be burned, and the contact with eyes will seriously affect the visual acuity.
(2) Tweezers should be used to remove semen. If the skin contacts the metal bucket directly, it will be sticky and tear.
(3) Slow insertion should be made to prevent liquid nitrogen from splashing out. Because liquid nitrogen boils when it is inserted into the object, it may splash out of the tank, and it should move slowly when it is filled with nitrogen.
(4) Only neck plugs matched with liquid nitrogen tanks can be used to prevent the volatilization of liquid nitrogen. If other plugs are used, the pressure of the liquid nitrogen tank may increase and cause explosion or loss of liquid nitrogen.
(5) Supplementation of liquid nitrogen
A: You can freeze it in a jar with a thin wooden stick for a while. Take out the stick to measure the frosting height, and add liquid nitrogen in a proper amount.
B: First determine the critical weight of the liquid nitrogen tank (that is, the weight at the time of filling nitrogen), and then weigh it every other time. When the critical weight is the same, it should be filled with nitrogen.
